This week was an okay week. My team had a great practice on Tuesday, but today was not as great. Tuesday the kids were hustling, listening, and when they made mistakes they made quick corrections. Today they were tuning the coaches out, walking to their places, and seemed to not pay attention to their mistakes. They did better towards the end of practice so it was not a complete bad day, but it did drag a little. I am finding that I am getting more vocal with the kids. I am giving advice, praise and constructive criticism naturally. I am enjoying the practices, but it is time to get down to business and prepare for next Thursday's game. We just need one more good practice and I think we will be okay. Go Crusaders!

Observation of what else is going on in their lives that you know of, what day of the week they practice better on- what snacks they may have come in eating - all of that can help you know what to expect and may be something you can share with the players. (Pigging out on Snickers before walking into practice is not necessarily a good thing!!!!)
